Sustainable Cruises: Kiel's Shore Power Initiatives 2023
The Port of Kiel, one of the most important cruise ports in the Baltic Sea region, kicked off its summer cruise season for 2023 on 1 April with the arrival of the AIDAluna. This year, the port expects 173 ship calls from no fewer than 19 different shipping companies. Kiel welcomed its first cruise ships as early as the beginning of the year, including the HANSEATICnature, underscoring Kiel's growing appeal as a year-round destination.
