First voyages after modernisation

AIDAluna will embark on the "Côte Bleue & Costa Brava" voyage on 10 December 2025 from Palma de Mallorca, extensively modernised, with stops in Marseille, Palamós and Barcelona. This will be followed by further voyages in the western Mediterranean, including the Christmas and New Year's Eve voyage to Spain and Italy, as well as Gibraltar. From 5 January 2026, AIDAluna will head for the Canary Islands, where the ship will spend the winter. Various routes will call at the Canary Islands in combination with Madeira or Morocco.

AIDAbella's first voyage after its shipyard stay will take it from 11 to 18 March 2026 on a journey to the "Pearls of the Mediterranean from Mallorca". Afterwards, it will travel via Spain, Portugal and along the English coast to Kiel – its summer home port. From here, AIDAbella will set sail for destinations including southern Norway and Scandinavian highlights such as Oslo, Copenhagen and Kristiansand.

New video series "Super wird mega"

Before AIDAdiva, AIDAluna and AIDAbella enter the shipyard, planning is already in full swing. What is planned and what guests can look forward to will be presented from 8 August 2024 in a monthly video series. A first teaser of the new format is now available at www.aida.de/evolution.

Unique guest experience: completely new interior design and services

In addition to improved ship technology, the focus of the modernization during the seven-week shipyard stay will be on even more variety of experiences, service, and comfort. Popular concepts from the latest AIDA generations will also be brought on board. All guest cabins will receive a new look. Furthermore, the suite offering will be expanded. For the first time on this ship class, exclusive areas and services will be created. In terms of culinary offerings, guests can look forward to an even greater variety of restaurants and even more service. The bar selection will be enhanced with additional popular signature bars. The unmistakable Theatrium will be refitted with inviting seating and a harmonious colour concept. New activity areas will be created specifically for families with children.

Benchmarks in ship design

The Sphinx-class ships were commissioned between 2007 and 2013. Their innovative and open spatial concept and design have significantly shaped the AIDA feeling. With AIDA Evolution, these ships are now undergoing extensive modernization. Further details about the modernization program and the planned innovations can be found at aida.de/evolution.
