Man overboard – AIDAperla On the current AIDAperla cruise, a person was reported overboard today, 22.10. The crew immediately began a search and rescue operation. AIDAperla has changed course to return to the person's presumed location. The missing person is still being searched for; it is a crew member. Carnival had to cancel the nine-day cruise originally planned for Friday from Southampton at short notice. The reason for this is necessary repairs to the ship's propulsion system, which has since returned to Kiel. Guests have already been contacted by Carnival.
