On 2 May 2023, the time had come. AIDAaura was the first cruise ship to dock in the newly built South Harbour in Aberdeen. The expansion is intended to boost tourism in the region. A total of 39 cruise ship calls are planned for this year.

Mein Schiff 1 from Tui Cruises left dry dock ELBE 17 in Hamburg this afternoon, 1 May 2023, and is on its way to Bremerhaven under the command of Captain Jan Fortun (a portrait of the Brandenburger can be found here), where the ship will return to passenger service tomorrow and resume voyages towards Norway. Aida opened bookings for the 24/25 winter season today, 20 April 2023. There are 380 new voyages with the Kussmundflotte, with a variety of destinations to choose from. For example, AIDAstella will be sailing in the Eastern Mediterranean, calling at Egypt and Cyprus as well as the Greek islands. Nach erfolgtem Umbau ist die Columbuskaje in Bremerhaven in Betrieb gegangen. Als erstes Kreuzfahrtschiff legte heute früh die Mein Schiff 3 an. Der Umbau beinhaltet auch eine neue Brücke, damit Passagiere die Schiffe bequemer betreten können. Das Columbus Cruise Center plant dieses Jahr noch 107 Anläufe von verschiedenen Kreuzfahrtschiffen.
Ab sofort ist der Jeckliner 4 von Tui Cruises buchbar. Diesmal startet die Eventreise am 15.09.24 in Kiel und dauert 4 Tage. Angelaufen werden Göteborg und Kopenhagen, auch ein Seetag ist vorgesehen. An Bord der Mein Schiff 3 treten unter anderem die Höhner auf sowie Janine Kunze und Marc Metzger. Weitere Künstler werden von Tui Cruises noch bekannt gegeben.
Gestern, 16.04.2023, gab es eine Premiere in Deutschland. Zum ersten Mal nutzen zwei Kreuzfahrtschiffe gleichzeitig einen Landstromanschluss in Warnemünde. AIDAsol war damit zum zweiten Mal bei einer Premiere dabei, bereits 2021 war AIDAsol das erste Schiff, dass zum ersten Mal überhaupt in Warnemünde mit Landstrom versorgt wurde. Zur Doppel Premiere kam es, als auch die AIDAmar im Hafen lag.
Heute verlässt die Mein Schiff Herz die Flotte von Tui Cruises. Mit der Ankunft in Palma de Mallorca aus Teneriffa geht die Dienstzeit nach 12 Jahren bei Tui Cruises zu Ende. Die Mein Schiff Herz wird nach einer Umrüstung für Marella Cruises weiter im Betrieb sein. Gebaut wurde die Mein Schiff Herz im Jahr 1997 bei der Meyer Werft in Papenburg.
