AidaCosma was handed over by Meyer Werft in Papenburg to Aida Cruises. This makes the second ship of the Helios class in the fleet. Aida is continuing on its path to emission-neutral cruising through the use of the LNG ship, as Felix Eichhorn (CEO) says. AidaCosma will take over the metropolises route from 26 February 2022. The 7-day trips are bookable with immediate effect. The christening ceremony will take place on 9 April 2022 in Hamburg; Kristina Vogel will be the godmother.

Seit heute ist das Gebiet der Niederlande als Hochrisikogebiet eingestuft, mit den Folgen für Besucher, wie z.B. Quarantäne bei Rückkehr für ungeimpfte Personen. Ausgenommen von dieser Regelung sind allerdings die Übersee-Territorien, Aruba, Curacao und Sint Maarten, wo sich ja zur Zeit diverse Kreuzfahrtschiffe befinden. Hier ist also, Stand heute, keine Einschränkung zu erwarten.

Wie ja aufgrund der aktuellen Situation zu erwarten war, musste Aida wieder etliche Katalogreisen absagen. Damit herrscht für gebuchte Gäste zumindest Klarheit, was ihre Reisen betrifft. Unter anderem ist die Sommersaison der Aidanova bis einschließlich 23.10.2021 abgesagt. Ebenso abgesagt ist die Wintersaison der Aidablu vom 5.11.2021 bis zum 17.4.2022. Aida wird alle Gäste der abgesagten Reisen in der Reihenfolge des Startdatums der Reisen kontaktieren. Aida hat bekannt gegeben, dass Aidacara die Kussmund-Flotte verlässt. Gebaut wurde Aidacara 1996 in Turku. Mit der Aidacara verlässt das erste Schiff von Aida die Flotte und soll in Asien weiterhin als Kreuzfahrtschiff unterwegs sein. Aida strukturiert die Flotte derzeit um, so ist auch der eigentlich geplante dritte LNG Neubau bereits innerhalb der Carnival Gruppe abgegeben worden.

As Aida has announced, another ship will be sailing on Baltic Sea cruises. On alternating 3/4-day trips, Gothenburg and Danzig will be called at from Kiel. It will most likely be the Aidaluna. The trips can be booked immediately, and various fares are offered.

Aida has confirmed that AIDAstella will resume the originally planned 10/11-day routes in the Mediterranean from 29.07.2021. However, it can be assumed that these trips will also take place under the proven hygiene concept. Calls are planned in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Malta. Unfortunately, all planned tours with AIDAstella until 29.07 must be cancelled. Aida hat bekannt gegeben, dass ab dem 16. Juni 2021 Landgänge in Schweden aufgrund der dortigen Lockerungen möglich sind. Nähere Infos will Aida in Kürze bekannt geben. Es werden bei den Ahoi Touren ab Deutschland Hafen Anläufe je nach Tour in Stockholm, Visby oder Göteborg geplant. Aida has today released bookings for the Christmas and New Year's trip with the AIDAcosma. The first trip with the newest fleet member begins on December 22, 2021, in Hamburg. Also newly bookable are the Mediterranean cruises with the AIDAperla from Mallorca. In return, Aida has had to cancel catalogue trips until July 5, 2021. Travellers with affected bookings will be contacted directly by Aida.
