La Palma, im Westen der Kanaren gelegen, bietet eine Menge Eindrücke. Die Insel lebt zum großen Teil noch von der Landwirtschaft, der Tourismus spielt noch nicht die Rolle wie z.B. auf Teneriffa oder Gran Canaria. Das Wetter war wieder sehr freundlich, so dass dem Kaffee auf dem Balkon nichts im Weg stand. Der Vormittag war eigentlich für einen Landausflug zu einer Zigarren-Manufaktur vorgesehen. Leider wurde der Ausflug aufgrund mangelnder Teilnehmerzahl abgesagt. Die mir angebotenen Ausflüge haben mich allerdings nicht so…

Aida announced today that the AIDAcosma will be put into service in December 21. It will begin with a repositioning trip from Hamburg to Gran Canaria, which is scheduled to start on 22.12.21. Bookings open on 28.5. Due to the takeover of the Canary Islands services, the AIDAnova will be deployed in the Orient during the 21/22 winter season. Teneriffa erwartete mich mit gutem Wetter, wie ich beim Kaffee auf dem Balkon recht schnell gemerkt habe. Als größter Hafen auf den Kanaren gibt es hier immer sehr viel zu sehen, erfreulicherweise sogar Kreuzfahrtschiffe, die mit Passagieren unterwegs waren, so z.B. AIDAperla oder auch World Voyager von Nickocruises. Aber eben auch diverse Schiffe, die auf Reede liegen und auf ihre nächsten Einsätze warten. Frühstück und die obligatorische Temperaturmessung waren schnell erledigt, so dass ich mich der Entspannung hingegeben habe. Mit…

Der zweite Seetag der Reise, viel Sonne, viel Meer, wenig Essen. Rituale sind wichtig, deswegen gab es auch wieder den ersten Kaffee auf dem Balkon, mit Blick auf Gran Canaria. Und danach ging es zur obligatorischen Temperatur-Messung. Da ich eh in der Nähe des Tag&Nacht Bistros war, hab ich auch dort eine Kleinigkeit gefrühstückt. Since yesterday was the arrival day, today is more about relaxing. Which also means: sleeping in. The buffet restaurant Anckelmannplatz is now open continuously, meaning breakfast is available until 11:30. What's also possible, and is almost a kind of insider tip, is the Tag&Nacht Bistro, which also has a breakfast selection. Right, the first coffee is on the desk. Arrived in balcony cabin 8086 on Mein Schiff 2. And it was as always, everything went smoothly. The flight was operated by Tui Fly, MUC-LPA today in just under 4.5 hours. Since the flight wasn't fully booked, I got 3 seats for the price of one.
