Am Abend ging es los nach Dubai. Die Mein Schiff 2, frisch aus der Werft, war das Ziel für eine kurze, viertägige Kreuzfahrt. Nachtflug Diesmal hatte ich wieder das Anreise-Paket über Tui Cruises gebucht, so hatte ich einen Direkt-Flug mit Emirates ab München bekommen. Das Anreise-Paket hat Vor- und Nachteile. Der zweite Tag in Doha mit der Mein Schiff 2 begann ganz entspannt mit einem Kaffee auf dem Balkon. Der zweite Kaffee folgte dann im Tag&Nacht. Wir hatten kurzfristig noch Tickets für den Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus gebucht. Die Haltestelle der „Green Line“ befand sich direkt vor dem Terminal. Kaufen kann man die Tickets für den Bus an Bord. Am zweiten Reisetag der Mein Schiff 2 stand ein halber Seetag und die Ankunft in Doha, Katar auf dem Programm. Nach ausgiebigem Schlaf und Frühstück wurde an Bord im Restaurant Mittag gegessen und dennoch die warme Sonne genossen. Trotz Hitze wagte man sich in Doha ins Freie und besuchte das neue Terminal im „Old Port“. Nach einer Stärkung mit Döner an Bord, wurde das Abendessen im Hauptrestaurant und ein Spaziergang bei warmer Nacht genossen.

The day of arrival already began the evening before, with a premiere. The flight to Dubai was self-organized, with Lufthansa.
