AIDAdiva and AIDAmar at sea in Warnemünde as well as a big travel competition

Germany's largest cruise company AIDA Cruises is once again the main sponsor for one of the world's largest maritime events, the Hanse Sail Rostock, from 8 to 11 August 2024. With AIDAmar and AIDAdiva, two ships from the Kussmund fleet will be guests in Warnemünde on Friday and Saturday. On land, AIDA invites visitors to get to know the AIDA holiday world at two locations in the city harbour. An area of over 600 m² is available on the Haedge peninsula. Further experiences are offered by the silo terraces at the headquarters of AIDA Cruises. Those who want to see the AIDA ships not only from the quay should take part in the big competition. AIDA is raffling a travel voucher worth 3,000 euros.

This was stated by Dirk Inger, Senior Vice President Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability, at the opening press conference of Hanse Sail 2024.

The large AIDA holiday world on the Haedge peninsula

With a direct view of the maritime activity of the traditional sailing ships from all over the world, pure holiday feeling awaits visitors to the large AIDA holiday world at the tip of the Haedge peninsula. You can relax with cool drinks and a delicious ice cream. Hot beats, presented by AIDAradio, invite you to dance into the sunset. In the AIDAperla show cabin, you can view your future home at sea. At the AIDA wanderlust experts on site, you can find out about the variety of the AIDA holiday world on board. Or you can book your next dream holiday right away. For a perfect souvenir photo of the Hanse Sail Rostock, the AIDA kiss stop is ideal as a selfie spot.

AIDA expects its guests on the Rostock Haedge peninsula daily from 10:00 am. On Thursday, opening hours are until 10:30 pm. On Friday and Saturday, they are until midnight. On Sunday, it closes at 8:00 pm.

The AIDA holiday world on the silo terraces

From 10:00 to 20:00 every day, the wanderlust experts at the AIDA holiday world are available for visitors. Young and old cruise fans will be welcomed between AIDA buildings Silo 4 and Silo 5. Dodo, the popular AIDA mascot, or the wheel of fortune will ensure surprise and fun for all visitors. AIDA deckchairs invite you to linger. Those who want to make their wanderlust dreams come true can book their next holiday on the kiss-mouth fleet directly on site.

See AIDA ships, not just during Hanse Sail

When AIDAmar docks at the Warnemünde Cruise Center for the last time this season on 4 November 2024, another successful season will end for AIDA Cruises. A total of 69 ship arrivals were recorded. Cruise fans can also see AIDA ships up close in Warnemünde during the Hanse Sail Rostock. It all starts on Friday, 9 August 2024, with AIDAmar, which will dock at 08:00 after arriving from Norway. Around 18:00, the ship and its guests will set course for a 10-day journey. It goes to the most beautiful destinations in the Baltic Sea region, such as Riga, Latvia, Helsinki, or Stockholm. On Saturday, 10 August 2024, AIDAdiva will be a guest in Warnemünde from 08:00 to 18:00 after arriving from Copenhagen. Afterwards, it's 'cast off' for a seven-day journey to Norway.

The AIDA cruise season 2025 will open on 13 April with AIDAmar. Until early November 2025, there will be various short trips. There are also 7- and 10-day cruises with AIDAdiva and AIDAmar. These lead to our neighbours in the Baltic Sea region and to Norway. A total of 69 arrivals in Warnemünde are currently scheduled.
